On October 11, 2026, athletes participating in Global Gate Ha Long ESG++ Marathon 2026 will start their race from Paradise Boulevard, within the Global Gate Ha Long mega-urban development. If you are traveling from another city or province, it is recommended that you book accommodation for the night of October 10, 2026, and arrange transportation for the early morning of Race Day.
To make it easier to choose where to stay, the Organizing Committee recommends several areas and provides reference price ranges to help runners find accommodation that suits their budget and travel plans to the start line.
1. Hung Thang – Little Vietnam Area
The area around Hoang Quoc Viet Street offers a variety of private hotels, apartments, and homestays, making it suitable for both solo runners and groups of athletes.
Private hotels: Runners can consider An Phu Ha Long, Dat Phuong Nam Hotel, and Little Venus Hotel in Little Vietnam. Accommodation in this area can be found from approximately VND 500,000 per room per night, although listed rates at individual hotels may be higher.
For groups: Apartments and homestays in Little Vietnam or the Green Bay area are worth considering, allowing groups to share accommodation costs among members.
Higher-end accommodation: Citadines Marina Halong is another option, with reference rates starting from approximately VND 1.1 million per room per night.
2. Cai Dam – Eastern Hung Thang Area
The Cai Dam – Eastern Hung Thang area offers hotels of various sizes, giving runners and running clubs more options, particularly when multiple rooms are required for Global Gate Ha Long ESG++ Marathon 2026.
Smaller hotels: River Hotel, Ha Long Plus, and Centrica Hotel, with reference rates starting from approximately VND 700,000 per room per night.
Larger hotels: Muong Thanh Grand Ha Long and DeLaSea Ha Long, with reference rates ranging from approximately VND 1-1.2 million per room per night, depending on the hotel and room category.
3. Tuan Chau Area
Tuan Chau is another area runners may consider when looking for accommodation before Race Day.
Smaller accommodation options: Runners can consider Swan Motel, Ha Long Land Hotel, and other private hotels in the area, with rates starting from approximately VND 400,000 per room per night.
Higher-budget options: Paradise Suites Hotel and Tuan Chau Resort Ha Long are among the options to consider. Tuan Chau Resort has published rates starting from approximately VND 1.5 million per room per night.
Accommodation properties are located in different parts of the island. Before booking, runners should carefully check the route to the mainland and transportation options to the event venue in the early morning to ensure a smooth Race Day schedule.
4. Central Bai Chay Area
If accommodation in the areas above is fully booked, runners can expand their search to central Bai Chay.
Novotel Ha Long Bay and Wyndham Legend Halong are two options to consider, with published rates starting from approximately VND 1.1-1.5 million per room per night, depending on the property and the time of booking.
If staying in Bai Chay, runners should allow additional travel time on the morning of the race to ensure they arrive at the start area on time.
